Our Story
The Palafox and Romero Law Firm (Formerly the Palafox Patriarca Romero & Mendoza Law Firm (MRPP Law) is a professional law partnership dedicated to providing clients with the best legal representation. While the Firm was formed and organized only in 2014, its lawyers have, nonetheless, prior to putting up their collective experience and expertise together, individually established themselves in their respective fields of legal specialization.
Atty. Charlito Martin Mendoza and Atty. Marc Anthony Patriarca also co-founded the Firm. While they have been appointed to serve the public with critical functions related to the nation’s revenue-generation and border security, their initial contribution to the growth of the Firm continues to be felt.
Since its formation, the Firm has been engaged by notable corporations in various industries from land and real estate developers, utility companies, oil & gas, maritime & shipping, advertising and events companies and non-profit organizations for sports development and children with special needs.

Our Founders
Atty. Palafox has been in practice since 1999. He specializes in Agrarian Law, Labor Law, Election Law, Litigation and Real Estate and Land Titling. He was admitted to the Bar in 1999 and earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines-College of Law in Diliman in 1998. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of the Philippines at Baguio.
He joined the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz Law Offices (ACCRA Law) as an associate prior to serving as Head Executive Assistant (HEA) of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in 2001-2003
.He has been invited as a resource speaker by different groups to speak on agrarian reform, most notably by the Ateneo School of Law, the Ayala Group of Companies, and the Aboitiz Group of Companies.
He previously worked as a Supervising Legislative Staff Officer II at the House of Representatives and Legislative Staff Researcher.
Atty. Romero has more than 18 years experience in the legal profession. He joined the Chato and Vinzons-Chato Law Offices in 1998 after earning his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines. He is a general litigation lawyer who has also handled special concerns in the areas of tax, environment and elections. He served as legal counsel of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines and is currently Corporate Secretary of a number of corporations.
Aside from his practice, Atty. Romero served as Chief Political Affairs Officer of a legislator in the House of Representatives and was part-time instructor of academic subjects like Philippine Constitution and Ethics in one educational institution. Although born in Quezon City in 1970, he traces his roots to the provinces of Pangasinan and Bulacan.
